It is true that some people believe that achieving a fixed career in the whole of life sufficient for them and they be satisfied with it.

So, this job brings many advantages and fringe benefits for them. However, I believe that work satisfaction is a complex concept in terms of any person differ. It is commonly believed that entertainers and sports athletes should be paid high salaries as they gain their publicity through hard work and dedication of years. However, I tend to believe that these people are paid in excess and I will be analyzing some reasons to support my claim. Some people think that famous people are overpaid compared to other jobs nowadays.

In my opinion, I totally disagree this statement and I will explain why it is worth paying much money to personalities in this essay. Do you agree or disagree that celebrities are paid far too much money. These days, MOST celebrities can easily earn lots of money by using their fame and their image. There are some people who said that celebrities are paid much more than what they deserved. Social media builds the narrative, too. Many high-profile figures perpetuate unattainable lifestyles, sharing snaps of designer clothes, expensive cars or trips to luxury locations.

Unlike previous generations, we know exactly how the other half live, so it's only natural that aspirations around money and fame infiltrate our psyche. If we glorify the wealthy, what does that say about those of us working full-time jobs for five-figure salaries? Are we less deserving or simply not 'worth' as much? And is there a way to track our value to society that isn't monetary? This week in our series It's Complicated, we're tackling the ethics of affluence and inequality.

We've chatted with philosophers and a feminist theorist to figure out:. We're not saying that the top athletes, actors and performers don't deserve their multi-million-dollar pay cheques — most are incredibly talented and diligent. But let's not forget that childcare workers, teachers, nurses — and plenty of other workers — also bring skills and strong work ethics to their respective fields.

And they contribute to the public good. Unfortunately, their modest incomes generally don't reflect that.

Sports stars and celebrities are idolised for their talents and, oftentimes, their looks, so it makes sense that brands are keen to profit off their cachet through job contracts and endorsement deals. That makes their monetary value far higher than the average teacher or nurse.

People who risk their lives in their job, like Army Officials, police officers, for instance, ought to be paid well as appreciated for what they do for the nation. Additionally, professionals like doctors, engineers and teachers require people with a high level of skills that can take years to harness. Thus, it is essential to pay them well. In the end, all the above points fortify my opinion that people in the entertainment business receive the payment that they deserve.

Nevertheless, other professions that involve high risk, responsibilities, and skills should also be paid well to talented people motivated enough to choose those fields as their possible careers. In the past, the field of entertainment was not very famous or developed. However, with the improvement in technology, the income of celebrities increased. Many people believe that entertainers like actors, musicians and sportspeople are highly paid.

I personally agree with the statement. There are other more critical jobs which should be highly paid. It is true that entertainers are highly paid. It can be seen from their lifestyle, sports cars and luxury houses, cricketers and film actors are overpaid just to represent the country.

Furthermore, they make an extra income by promoting any product by doing advertisements and become the brand ambassador of the product. Entertainer becomes famous, and people like to follow their trends and lifestyle. So, big companies like MRF and Airtel hire celebrities with handsome pay to influence other people to buy their products.

Celebrities career life span is concise. And they become famous with lots of struggle, practice and hard work. They will get paid until they are recognised and can perform risky stunts. They perform dangerous stunts for their own personal benefits, which is not helpful for their development. In conclusion, it is seen that the entertainers are overpaid since their job is only to entertain, which is not the basic need of people.

There are other jobs with lots of responsibilities and risks which should be highly paid and are essential for humanity. Your email address will not be published. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
